Have you been watching bloodhound (1000 mph car) have updates from them now and again and some of the technology and engineering is beyond belief : Bulletproof design needed for sand blasting at ss speeds extra special material for wheels 10,500 rpm Engine power 135,000 bhp 7.5 tons weight fuel consumption 1.5 TONS ! 0 to 1,000 mph and then stop ? oh and an F1 engine driven fuel pump ? all interesting stuff BFN
