8th Bexleyheath was my group and a better thing for lads to do (since conscription stopped) I am still to find ! During the winter we had an air raid shelter as our hut and we would find all sorts of things to do in there badges etc as you say Lance but another good thing about our hut positioning it was in the school grounds ! one of the annual fun things was to try and get from the school gates to the roundabout with out touching the ground ? needless to say there was an avenue of trees ! Greatest fun!
